Losing my teeth, what a mess Print

Written by Jean Lussier

Even the loss of a single tooth without checking the consequences can cause medium or long term adverse effects. Indeed, the teeth work in groups and the loss of some members affects those left behind. If your status requires the extraction of one or more teeth, be sure to discuss with your dentist and understand how to replace the missing ones and why we should do this.

Here are some useful terms :

  • Implants and fixed prosthesis and / or removable partial or complete, unitary
  • Fixed prosthesis to the remaining teeth
  • Crown or inlay on natural tooth unit
  • Partial denture
  • Removable denture

Each category has its advantages and disadvantages and should be measured seriously and discussed with the dentist André Ménard and his staff.
